Cathy Hope
Communications DirectorCathy Hope is the Director of Communications for CCF. Hope is an experienced communications professional who has spent more than 15 years in policy and public affairs. She has developed communications and legislative strategies for the public, private, and non-profit sectors. She began her career in Washington as a legislative assistant to former Congressman Bruce Vento. During her tenure, she was successful in efforts to enact and fully-fund the Vento-McKinney Homeless Assistance Act. She also served as communications director and district office director to Congressman Vento. In 1993, she joined Fannie Mae as manager of policy and public affairs and was later promoted to director. Prior to moving to Washington, she worked for the Minnesota State Legislature. Cathy earned her B.S. in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin.
